Payment Terms
Draft for professional review before publication
Last updated: July 2026
These payment terms apply to invoices issued by The Trustee for Aus Wide Maintenance Trust, trading as AUS Wide Maintenance. This document is a placeholder: items shown in brackets are pending business approval and must be confirmed before online payment is enabled.
Quotes and deposits
- Quotes remain open for acceptance for [validity period — to be confirmed].
- Deposits: [whether a deposit is required, at what threshold, and the percentage — to be confirmed]. Any deposit is stated on the quote before acceptance.
- Progress payments for larger projects: [staging structure — to be confirmed and stated per quote].
Invoicing and due dates
- Tax invoices are issued on completion of work or agreed stages. We are registered for GST.
- Invoices are due [payment window, e.g. 7 or 14 days — to be confirmed] from issue.
- Accepted payment methods are stated on the invoice. Online card payment, when enabled, is processed by Stripe.
- Card surcharges: [whether any surcharge applies — to be confirmed; any surcharge will not exceed the cost of acceptance].
Emergency call-outs
[Call-out fee structure for emergency and after-hours attendance — to be confirmed.] Any call-out fee is disclosed before attendance is arranged.
Variations and latent conditions
Work beyond the quoted scope — including conditions that could not reasonably be known until work opened up — is quoted as a written variation and proceeds only with your approval.
Cancellations and access
- Cancellation notice and any applicable fees: [to be confirmed].
- If access to the property is not available at an agreed appointment, [rescheduling terms and any fee — to be confirmed].
Late payment and disputes
- Overdue accounts: [late payment approach — to be confirmed].
- Invoice queries should be raised before the due date via the contact page; genuine disputes are resolved before recovery steps are taken.
Consumer guarantees
Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
